Do you keep your testosterone levels high? The reason I ask is because testosterone drives up levels of a protein called TMPRSS2. (They know this from prostate cancer patients) and they also know TMPRSS2 cleaves the spike protein to initiate membrane fusion. So the more TMPRSS2, the more S1 spike sub-units will be floating around in the blood. And here's a study showing S1 spike subunits causing heart problems.

Haven't taken exogenous T for over 10 years. But yes you're correct. Androgens mediate TMPRSS2.

Yes, I have both in my "covid kit". Old and "at risk" I still practice basic prevention before entering "shared air" and to protect against the cough or sneeze in my face. Home mixed 12% xylitol in sterile plain water for oral and nasal sprays to "saturation" and need to blow my nose followed by 0.5% povidone-iodine in saline for oral and nasal sprays using more sprays than recommended for 1%. I have been trying the 0.5% also for antiviral eye spray and have also mixed 1 part Astepro Allergy nasal spray with 2 parts otc eye drops to make normal prescription strength antiviral azelastine eye drops. Then a 3M N95 and I put the side shields on my everyday use ordinary looking safety glasses. If my exposure has been of any duration I will follow up with washes and sprays perhaps some prophylaxis to use up older "paste."

I appreciate your write up about your and your family's experience with covid. I pass it on. As well as that from Dr. DeMello.

Extremely thorough! If you have already recovered from a prior infection (who among us has not by now?), then you shouldn't be concerned about experiencing severe covid as defined by immunothrombogenesis caused by complement hyperactivation leading to hypercytokinemia, coagulopathy cascade, etc. Nucleocapsid remains highly conserved. I treated both of my parents through delta - cancers of brain, prostate, lung, and more wrecked lungs from MAI. They didn't experience anything like I did because immunocompromised patients cannot experience an overactive immune response. The PHAs were dead wrong.

Who would have thought "immunocompromised" would be a protective factor. Yet I can understand this now.

I am one of those who has not had covid. Real (no "vaccine") "Basic Prevention" has worked for me. I have nutraceuticals but without a few HCQ pills to nebulize, colchicine and clopidogrel to start early, and steroids and even enoxaparin just in case these are indicated, I am still "concerned about experiencing severe covid as defined by immunothrombogenesis caused by complement hyperactivation leading to hypercytokinemia, coagulopathy cascade, etc."

Maybe exogenous T has long term effects on immune system. Cuz you seem like an extremely healthy individual. What are your hypothesis as to why your complement system got so wacked from COVID?
